[edit] 007. ALAC and New gTLDs
Statement by Wendy from GNSO Forum: At GNSO Public Forum right now, I'm reminded that there is a PDP-in-progress on new gTLDs. Though we've submitted many statements in the past, we should prepare to do so again. There's lots of pressure from IP and BC to keep the process limited to few, sponsored TLDs. We've previously called for a much more open market approach, as I indicated from the stage. It would be great to get a fuller update from Bret, but I was concerned by what appeared to be a push from GNSO for "differentiation." Do we want to investigate the PDP on existing contract revision?
