Alan Levin

Alan is a member and treasurer of the government selected board of directors of the .za domain name authority .za DNA. He has been involved with ICANN since selected to run in the board elections in 2001. In addition to participation in the CCNSO he continues to participate in the ALAC

He is the chairman of ISOC-ZA South Africa and works on activities reaching out to some of the 80% of the South African population that have no experience or knowledge of the Internet. AfriDNS is project which includes information about African domain names.

Alan is a partner in Future Perfect Corp. where he shares his time at Radian doing policy research and development, and Vanilla, a niche ISP.

Alan is founding treasurer of the PIR and has served on the board of AfriNIC
