Annette Muehlberg
Annette is the former chair and one of the European representatives of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC). She is based in Berlin. She is very passionate about public infrastructure policies and conceptualizing IT-infrastructure as a public good.
Annette works at the headquarters of the United Services Union (ver.di) as head of eGovernment, new media and public management. There she helps employees and managers to build and implement e-government in a democratic way (check: www.governet.de, or a short english/french/russian version: www.governet.info).
She is co-chair of the Network New Media and was from the very begin active in civil society at the World Summit on the Information Society and co-author of the german cs-document: Charter of Civil Rights for a Sustainable Knowledge Society.
As a member of ALAC, Annette wants to make ICANN more transparent, end-user oriented and get the users involved in ICANN´s decision making processes.
