BART

Driving in San Francisco can be a nightmare, especially when it comes to parking.

If you are flying into either San Francisco International airport or Oakland International airport, a quick, low cost alternative would be to take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). BART is the regional train system that covers much of the Bay Area. It is rather convenient that one of the BART stations is right in front of the Sheraton Palace, the venue for the Domain Roundtable conference.

Below is a BART system map.

From and To San Francisco International:

Take either the Yellow, Red or Blue lines FROM the airport. Your destination station will be the “Montgomery Street” station. While a station has multiple exits, your exit will be the “Montgomery Street” exit. When you take the escalator up to street level the hotel should be on the south side of Market Street.

One way fare is $5.35.
Round trip fare is $10.70.

When heading TO the airport, you can always take the Yellow line, but the Red and Blue lines go to the airport at certain times of the day.

The Yellow line always goes to the airport.
The Red line goes to the airport weekdays only.
The Blue line goes to the airport weeknights and weekends only.

From Oakland International

When exiting the airport look for the shuttle bus that will take you to the “Coliseum/Oakland Airport” BART station.

The shuttle bus costs $3.00 each way. Exact change required.

Take either the Green or Blue lines FROM or TO the airport. Your destination station will be the “Montgomery Street” station. While a station has multiple exits, your exit will be the “Montgomery Street” exit. When you take the escalator up to street level the hotel should be on the south side of Market Street.

One way fare is $3.55.
Round trip fare is $7.10.

If you do plan on leaving San Francisco after the conference, it is always a good idea to purchase a round trip ticket as you will not have to worry about purchasing a ticket at the end of the conference.
