Ching Chiao
I am the Director of International Affairs and Public Relations in Taiwan Network Information Center TW-NIC /.tw registry), and the Project Manager of Taiwan IPv6 Program Office (IPv6 project is one of the e-Taiwan initiatives).
I began to get involved in VoIP/ ENUM couple years ago and currently serve as the vice chairman of APEET (Asia Pacific Enum Engineering Team), an ENUM collaborative effort among major ccTLD registries in Asia Pacific. Meanwhile I help coordinate the activities of Taiwan SIP/ENUM Trial, the island-wide ENUM/ VoIP project covering major universities, government agencies and ISPs.
I am also the founder of TWING Camp (or TaiWan Internet Next Generation Camp), an open forum and international leadership program for young Internet users in Taiwan sponsored by TW-NIC and ISOC Taiwan Chapter.
I constantly participate and involve in the work of the following international Internet organizations: --APNG (I am the member of the APNG Steering Committee) --APRICOT / APNIC (IPv6, ENUM) --APTLD Association (IDN, ENUM, registry practices) --ICANN/ ccNSO meetings (representing .tw registry) --Global IPv6 Forum
I was with Register.com, where I developed and managed Rcom's channel partners in Asia-Pacific region. After that I joined Surfgold.com, a Singpore software consulting firm which expertizes on channel loyalty program for multi-national IT companies like HP, Motorola, etc.
