Creative Commons

The Creative Commons project is an initiative established with the aim of promoting new forms of licensing of copyrighted works that encourage innovation and sharing. The Creative Commons publishes a series of licenses that span the spectrum between "All rights reserved" (the "default" copyright license for creative works) and "No rights reserved" (eg public domain).
