gTLDs The abreviation gTLDs stands for generic Top Level Domains - as e.g. .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .travel, .mobi a.s.o. (see also www.icann.org)

ccTLDs The agronym stands for the more than 200 country code top level domains - as e.g. .de (Deutschland/ Germany), .eu (Europe), .us (United States), .es (Espaňa/ Spain) a.s.o. (see also www.iana.org)

Some registrars and internet service providers (ISPs) have specialized to combine on their platform the registration of gTLD and ccTLD domain names.
