ICANNWIKI Roadmap

Getting a wiki off the ground takes a dedicated effort by a core group of people. ICANNWIKI is in this early "founding" stage now. The founding period provides an opportunity to streamline procedures, create a base of information and educate people about the wiki's existence and use.

As the wiki gains a critical mass of data, continuity of procedures, and an established community of contributors the wiki will grow less and less dependent upon the initial founders. Our goal is for ICANNWIKI to be truly run and owned by the community. This transition will take some weight off the shoulders of the initial organizers and lead to long term continuity and sustainability. Below are the currently critical tasks that need managing at every ICANN Meeting.

1. Session notes volunteers
   1. ALAC
   2. ccNSO
   3. Registrars
   4. Registries
   5. ISP
   6. IPC
   7. etc.
2. Schedule maintenance volunteer
3. Vandalism Patrol (volunteer to watch "RecentChanges" for a period of time and hand that off when you are tired)
4. Picture taking volunteers at conferences
5. Continued Sponsorship for caricatures, travel for wiki envangelists, booth space and printing of educational materials
6. Sticker project
7. Button project
8. Local page for each conference with hotels, restaurants, activities, etc.

The wiki, by definition, is not static and hence this list may and hopefully will change many times in the future as the community continues to think of new and innovative ways to shape the wiki over time. Edit this page as you see fit!
