Boston Computer Society Internet Special Interest Group "BCS ISIG"
Now defunct, the first Internet Special Interest Group "ISIG" was founded in 1992 by Michael L. Barrow at M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA. Martin Hannigan was Meeting Director. Meetings were held monthly on the M.I.T. campus and featured a range of evangelistic topics including telnet, archie, gopher, tcpd, SOCKS, fwtk, and tftp.
