Image:mark-harris-icann.jpg Mark Harris is a technology researcher and consultant in Wellington, New Zealand. Mark is currently a councillor of InternetNZ elected in 2005 for 2 years. He was previously a councillor between 1995 and 2000 and was a part of the establishment team for the initial .nz commercial registry. Mark spent around 25 years in various parts of the New Zealand public service and, since 1987, has been involved in information technology. He was the moderator of the closed govt.nz 2LD for 8 years, culminating in the establishment of the govt.nz registrar (dns.govt.nz).
