Martin Hannigan

Martin was Meeting Director of the original M.I.T. Internet Special Interest Group (ISIG) in 1988 and has been an Internet innovator and entrepreneur since. Currently working at Renesys as a member of Technical Staff(contract). Previously employed by VeriSign, INTERNAP, CTC, LEVEL3, TIAC, Microsoft and Bose.

Current community activity includes Member, ICANN Address Supporting Organization Advisory Council ASO.ICANN.ORG, appointed in the ARIN region in 2005 to a 3 year term beginning '06.

Current work includes research on root-server operators of the DNS, BGP routing table analysis, network intelligence, and other unspecified projects.
