Nominet
Nominet UK is the registry for .uk domain names. Nominet is organised as a not-for-profit company with members instead of shareholders. Nominet's policies are overseen by a multi-stakeholder group called the Policy Advisory Board (PAB), which includes elected and non-elected members from industry and government.
Registrars of .uk domain names are referred to as "tag holders".
