Registry Provisioning Protocol
The protocol that a Registry and Registrar use to communicate domain name specific details between one another for the purpose of registering and maintaining domain names. There are two protocols in primary use, RRP (Registry Registrar Protocol) and EPP (Extensible Provisioning Protocol).
