Rob Davey

Rob is Domain and Digital Content Product Manager at CPA.

After studying BSc Technology Management at Oxford Brookes University Rob spent two years working for market research company NOP. Rob entered the domain name industry in 1998 when he joined the Customer Support department of Nominet UK, the registry for .uk domain names. Rob worked at Nominet for 2 years during a time of huge growth in the .uk namespace, he helped registrants and registrars with all aspects of domain name management from registrations to disputes.

In 2001 Rob joined Net Searchers International Ltd as a Key Account Manager, in this role he assisted Intellectual Property departments of major multinational companies to protect their trademarks and brands in the domain name system. During this time Rob worked with many leading companies in the FMCG, Pharmaceuticals and Telecommunications industries in the UK and Scandinavia. During this time Rob managed the process for numerous high profile domain purchases and various successful UDRP/DRP procedures. In 2002 Net Searchers was taken over by Register.com Inc and by 2004 Rob was leading their European account management team as Sales Support Manager.

Rob joined CPA in October 2005, he is based in the central London office and is Product Manager for all of CPA's domain management and digital content services. Rob's key expertise includes ccTLDs, corporate domain strategy and on-line brand protection.
