Samantha Frida

Samantha Frida is Domain Name Consultant at CPA (www.cpaglobal.com/domains), she was previously Director of Digital Brand Management Services for Name.com LLC. She is a lawyer licensed in the U.K. Commonwealth.

She has broad experience in the domain name field, including her stint as the domain name attorney from October 2000 to October 2003 for Philips Electronics responsible for managing the entire domain name portfolio for the company, based in the Netherlands. One of her few tasks at Philips Electronics was to implemented a corporate domain name management policy. She was an active member of the Philips E-Commerce Legal Support Team (ECLST), having written the chapter on domain names for the Corporate brand management manual at Philips Electronics.

She is an active member of both the Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) at ICANN, and the IP Committee of Singapore Law Society. In her spare time, she writes for the Singapore Law Gazette.
