Wm. Shawn McCaughan Vice President Operations Dotster, Inc.

Wm. Shawn McCaughan joined Dotster in February 2006; his responsibilities include customer support, web design services, renewals, development and IT/Operations. He brings to Dotster over 15 years of expertise in hosting operations, technical support, professional services, renewals and sales. His experience, expertise and commitment to continual improvement and the customer experience provides leadership in building customer loyalty.

Prior to joining Dotster, McCaughan was Senior Director of Hosting Operations and Support at WebTrends where he was responsible for all aspects of worldwide support and hosting operations. McCaughan was part of the executive team where is he was instrumental in reducing hosting costs while improving service reliability and was responsible for customer experience and delivery of WebTrends hosted solutions.

Before that, McCaughan was Senior Director of support and renewal sales at NetIQ. McCaughan was responsible for re-engineering support including technology, consolidation of NA support operations and the launch of the EMEA support center. During his tenure both NetIQ and McCaughan received awards for support excellence.

McCaughan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Harding University.
