Susan spent some time as a lawyer working for Verisign. She has spent some time as an advisor/lawyer (I am not sure which. apologies) worked for Snapnames, a company that has been trying to launch a service, WLS with the Verisign registry that has been stalled by the ICANN process (although one might argue that it is not ICANN, but objection by the Internet community to the service that has stalled it).
