Logging in helps build trust

Logging in helps to build a sense of community when you can see who is contributing what and where. Certain functionality is only available to logged-in folks. As a logged-in person you will have a Personal Page to share a bit about yourself and a User Talk Page for messages and discussion.

You can also create an account using OpenID if you already have one.

How to Create an Account

An account on ICANNWiki helps to identify you as a unique member of our community, as well as allows you to customize your preferences, set watchlists, track what pages you've worked on, and upload pictures.

Creating an account is easy!

At the upper-right hand corner of every page, you'll find a link that says "Basic Wiki Login"

When you click this link you should get a window that looks something like this:

Fill in the information it asks for and click "Create account". Please note: The "Username" can be anything you want, however we in the Wiki world greatly prefer Real Names.

Password/Retype password -- Enter a password and then retype it in the next box to verify it. E-mail: Entering an address lets others privately contact you without revealing your email address to the rest of the world. It also can be used for the system to send you a new password if you forget yours. Entering an email address is optional.
