- Masala - Indian Restaurant
- The Brewery - The ICANN pub, but they have excellent fish and chips (with salt and vinegar even!)
- Coyote - Tex/Mex without much Tex or Mex. Novel menu.
- The Hummingbird - Small plates for the broadminded.
- The Flying Burrito Brothers - Mexican and tequila. The sangria was cool, and the enchiladas hot! True mexican mole sauce, spicy but not over peppered. Small, dark and cool.
- Miyabi - authentic sushi and japanese food, small but cosy, 142 willis street
- Citron - very small new zealand-asian cross-over restaurant (about 20 seats), try the 9 course signature menu, willis street
