* [[ICANN 76]] is happening now, and will continue thruough 16 March 2023 as a [https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/register-for-the-icann76-community-forum-in-cancun-mexico-24-01-2023-en hybrid event] with both in-person and virtual participation. The prep week for the meeting happened from 27 Feb through 1 March.

* During [[ICANN 76]], the [[ICANN Board]] [https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-board-moves-to-begin-preparations-for-the-next-round-of-new-gtlds-16-03-2023-en adopted] 98 recommendations contained in the [[SUBPRO|New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Policy Development Process Final Report]], setting in motion the implementation process for the next round of [[New gTLD Program|new generic top-level domains]].
