.kg is the ccTLD for Kyrgyzstan. It is managed by AsiaInfo Telecommunication Enterprise.[1]

Rules and Restrictions[edit | edit source]

A domain name can be registered by residents of the Kyrgyz Republic, an individual or legal entity, as well as foreign legal entities and foreign individuals.[2]

The following SLDs are available: ".com.kg", ".net.kg", ".org.kg" and ".edu.kg".[2]

Characters[edit | edit source]

A domain name must:

  • consist of more than one symbol;
  • start and end with a letter of the Latin alphabet or a digit. Letters, digits or a hyphen may be intermediary symbols;
  • not start or end with a hyphen, may not consist of one hyphen and may not contain two and more hyphens in succession.[3]
