Paul van Brouwershaven is the EMEA Business Development Director at GlobalSign, where he has been since 2012. He is the previous CTO of Networking4all. His current position sees him leading new strategies with regards to registries, and working with them on Whois verification services, SSL certificates, and DNSSEC.[1]

In January, 2012, Mr. van Brouwershaven left Networking4all in an amicable split, after leading the development of many of the business' core offerings and helping it garner a positive, international reputation. He led initiatives such as helping identify security holes on government and commercial sites and developing solutions, and web applications such as the company's Site Check and IDN Check services. He originally joined Networking4all in 2002.[2]

Paul is an IT specialist, especially experienced with regards to internet security, scripting, web services, databases and network & routing. He has become an expert on online security business and digital certificate solutions through his work as a consultant and his experience developing solutions with Networking4all. Paul has spoken on these topics at various key industry events and seminars.[3][4] He has continued this work with GlobalSign, presenting on such topics as "Certifying and Signing PDFs" at the iText Summit.[5]
