On May 21, 2015, [[ICANN]] announced that Chehadé will end his tenure as president and CEO in March, 2016. On 17 August 2015, he announced on the ICANN Blog that after he steps down he will be taking a position as a Senior Advisor on Digital Strategy for ABRY Partners, a Boston-based private equity investment firm.
