After working for ten years within the Senegalese government as a project manager, and for 9 years as the General Manager of a computer service company in Senegal, she ran the 3 year USAID funded Program [http://www.dfi.sn "Digital Freedom Initiative"] in Senegal as the Program Director. As an international consultant for [[Unesco]], [[UNFPA]], [[UNECA]], [[ITU]], [[USAID]], [[UNDAW]], [[FRANCOPHONIE]] and [[IDRC]], she has set up computer systems and trained African professionals in several workshops. She has conducted research in the field of Information and Communication Technologies used in education, and gender equality; and has written and published several papers in the same field. She is a member of [[CATIA]] (Catalyzing Access to ICTs in Africa) Steering Committee Board.
