Share Burnstun and his partner [[Don McLeod]] sold in 1997 the IP infrastructure business MaxNet Services Inc which eventually merged with AT&T Canada.

Then, after three more years (in 200o) Shane Burnstan along with [[Don McLeod]] and [[Eddie Wong]] came up with the idea for this new business operation: to create an IP service platform for the wireless broadband industry. This is how Fairview Wireless was born, its main offices being in Vancouver, Canada.
