'''TANGO REGISTRY SERVICES''' was created in response to the historic passage of a new [[gTLD]] program by [[ICANN]] at its [[ICANN 41|41st meeting]] held in June, 2011 in Singapore. TANGO [[registry]] focuses entirely on [[Brand TLD]]s, that is, the new opportunities for brands to create their own .brand domain via the new gTLD program. They note that while most other standard registries have a diffuse chain of actors, including registry operators, registrars, and end users, a brand may now be the operator, administrator, and user of their own domain.
