'''ICANNWiki''' is a not-for-profit organisation based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Our team is dedicated to supporting the Internet community's collaborative development of wiki articles on [[ICANN ]] and Internet Governance-related topics. The wiki provides neutral, third-party information for ICANN meeting attendees, and those who follow the discussions from afar. It is an open platform governed by wiki values, such as Neutral Point of View, transparency, assuming good faith, and building together. The project is independent from ICANN, and is based out of Portland, Oregon, USA.  In a sense, ICANNWiki's site resembles some public libraries; it is free to enter, and open to any visitor wanting to spend time browsing around for a good and interesting read. Unlike most libraries, however, a number of the visitors to ICANNWiki are also the authors of the content hosted by ICANNWiki. Sometimes these authors build upon each other's work. The staff members of ICANNWiki are in many cases the authors of articles as well.  The Internet Governance space is known for being highly technical and obscure, making it difficult to develop a general understanding of the issues involved. These issues are pertinent to the daily lives of all Internet users, as well as those who stand on the other edge of the digital divide, still waiting for Internet access. ICANNWiki works with the community to break the harder concepts down into understandable, fully-referenced, fact-based, and neutral articles. <ref> This article is entirely user submitted by the ICANNWiki team & supporters: Ray, Jonah, Vivian, and Andrew</ref>

The Internet Governance space is known for being highly technical and obscure, preventing general understanding of the issues involved, which are in fact pertinent to the daily lives of all Internet citizens and those still waiting for Internet access.
