Kimberly "KC" Claffy is the founder and director of the Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA). Her research interests span Internet topology, routing, security, economics, future architectures, and policy.
Career History
In addition to overseeing CAIDA, Claffy has been a resident research scientist of the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) and an Adjunct Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at UC San Diego since 1991.[1]
ICANN and Internet Governance Participation
Claffy is a member of the SSAC.
Education
Claffy has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
