Boston Ivy is a UK-based FTSE 250-owned subsidiary providing a variety of services and information covering financial services. Established in 2014, its focus is on helping individuals new to trading or spread betting gain the knowledge needed to make informed trading decisions or spread bets.

The home of financial domains

After years of having just 22 generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) to choose from, the web opened up in 2012 and many more TLDs became available. Boston Ivy was quick to secure the six key financial services gTLDs of: .broker, .cfd, .forex, .markets, .spreadbetting and .trading.

These are made available to registrars to sell to registrants. Boston Ivy’s aim is to make these gTLDs the mark of quality for financial services on the internet. They seek to create an ecosystem of financial TLDs – trusted communities that set the standard for reliable, quality content.

Boston Ivy expects web users to view its domains as more relevant and trustworthy than .com sites; the go-to sites for reliable trusted information and services.

Spread betting review websites

Boston Ivy also runs two spread betting review sites, reviews.spreadbetting and brokercomparison.spreadbetting, specifically produced to help those new to spread betting make an informed choice when choosing a spread betting provider.

Their broker review site assesses six of the most popular providers of spread betting services. Covering size, price, platforms and markets, the information is presented with impartiality and intended to help those new to spread betting make an objective choice when choosing a provider. Assessments are made using available information and the results of an independent TNS customer service survey. Boston Ivy’s other spread betting website is their spread betting brokers comparison site. It also compares six key spread betting providers and presents factual comparisons based purely on currently available data.

Financial news provider

Another arm of Boston Ivy's services is news.markets, a website dedicated to the daily reporting of current financial news. A team of financial journalists, analysts and commentators provide news, live updates, analysis, commentary and videos, to give their readers the actionable insights they need to make informed trading decisions.
