Mike Zupke's Career

While studying at the University of Minnesota, Mr. Zupke was a Student Director of Wagner Labor & Employment Law Moot Court and president of the Lambda Law Student Association. Besides all these, he was also a volunteer at high schools as a street law instructor. As a student attorney he got involved a civil rights case against the State of Minnesota, a case that was won. Mr. zupke also made an internship at the U.S. Attorney's office and helped resolve diverse internet domain name trademark disputes. After graduating, Mr. Zupke started his own business, inPrivity, that provided outsourced legal research. He joined ICANN in 2005 doing at first compliance enforcement and continuing with protection of damain name registrants and occupies today the position of Regitsrar Liaison Manager.[2]
