In July, 2012, DomainsBot introduced a Domain Suggestion Developer API; that is, their Domain Suggestion service, which heretofore had been largely available to major registrars, became available as a REST API with client code available in C#, PHP or Java and via a simple-to-implement copy and paste widget (JQuery plugin). Their domain suggestion service was responsible for 1.5 million domain registrations in the previous 12 months.
