EuroDNS is an internet domain register company based on Luxembourg, Eurpoe. It is based in Luxembourg and has branch offices in Europe, USA and Asia (with AsiaDNS.com). It was founded in 2002 by, Xavier Buck, the current CEO of the company.[1]

EuroDNS has been involved with european domain names for more than 4 years and is accredited by ICANN, Eurid.[2]. According to its official website, EuroDNS has accreditation with more than 70 registries worldwide. [3]

History

In 2002, CEO and founder of Datacenter Luxembourg, Xavier Buck, founded EuroDNS as a subsidiary of Datacenter Luxembourg [4]. Founded in the begining of .eu era, EuroDNS started up as a domain register company supports to this perticular region and eventually extending its horizon.

2006 Eurodns.com focused on setting up two new registration services: asiadnswhich specialized in the asian ccTLDs and enumdnswhich specialized in ENUM registration services. [5]

In June 2010, EuroDNS and Open-source email and collaboration software provider Open-Xchange webmail announced an agreement to provide Open-Xchange webmail service to more than 250,000 EuroDNS customers at no additional charge.[6]

In July, 2010 - EuroDNS announced the opening of the general availability period for .CO domain names. [7]

EuroDNS formed stratezic partnership with Dynamic Network Services Inc. (Dyn Inc.) in OCtober 2010.[8]

EuroDNS extended thier services further by starting to provide domain name registration support for Norwegia.The Sunrise period for the new .CO.NO extension was opened in November 2010 and will be so until January 31st, 2011.[9]
