Mentor Ida Ng'ang'a is the the Chairman for Membership and Outreach for the Internet Society Kenya Chapter. She was elected in September 2016, the first woman to hold this position. FOCUS: Policy, Sustainability, Digitalization, Emerging technology, Employee development, Gender mainstreaming, Youth/women upskilling. She acts as consulting advisor to government, NGOs, civil society & private sector.

Olusegun Obasanjo, the 1<sup>st</sup> Global Forum on Youth Policies in Azerbaijan, the 2<sup>nd</sup> World Human Rights Forum in Morocco, Online Protection & Safety at the 2015 ECOSOC Forum at the UN Headquarters in New York and the 2015 Open Square Summit on Digital Education and Violence Prevention in Washington DC, USA.
She is a mentor for the Presidential Digitalent Program [/www.digitalent.co.ke/ www.digitalent.co.ke]  and a partner for Nairobi Innovation Week [/www.innovationweek.co.ke/ www.innovationweek.co.ke] and the International Telecommunications Union’s (ITU) Digital Innovation Framework. She is also a member of ICANN Governmental Advisory Committee.
She is currently working on a project that promotes, digital economy & internet education policies and interventions for regulators and government (with the help of the private sector); as well as promoting wireless community networks as an affordable solution for internet access.
