Cherine Chalaby is an expert in the field of banking and technology. At present, he serves on the ICANN Board of Directors. He was appointed by the Nominating Committee on December 10, 2010, and will serve until the conclusion of ICANN’s 2013 Annual Meeting. He also serves as Chairman of ICANN’s Finance Committee, and Member of the Board Governance Committee and the Executive Committee.[1][2]

Education

Chalaby received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University while his Masters Degree in Computing Sciences from the Imperial College of London. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
