Connie Francis (Shirima) is the Director of ICT Applications and Services at Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA). Before that, she was a Senior Information and Communications Development Officer for the TCRA. She is the Representative from Tanzania at GAC. She regularly attends AfTLD and ICANN Meetings.

On July 25, the ICANN Board moved the discussion on closed generics forward, proposing Melissa Peters Allgood, the Conflict Resolution Specialist on ICANN Organization's Policy Development Support team, serve as the facilitator for the Governmental Advisory Committee/GNSO Council dialogue on Closed Generics.
