Geraldine Capdeboscq is a former ICANN Board member who served from October 1998 – November 2000.[1]

Career

When she was nominated to serve on the board, she served as Executive Vice President for Strategy, Technology and Partnerships of BULL (France), a member organization of SFIB, Syndicat de l'Industrie des Technologies de l'Information, which represents the French information technology industry.[2] During her tenure there, she was also Finance and MIS Director for the French Network (1988–1991), Finance and Strategic Partnerships Director for the Research and Development Division (1991–1994), and President of Smartcards, Terminals and Securization (1994–1997). She also served on the Board of the Micro-Electronics Development for European Applications (MEDEA), a "pan-European program for advanced research and development which focuses on silicon submicron technology and its integration into systems". She received her training at the Ecole Nationale d'Administration in France.[2]
