Krista Papac is ICANN Complaints Officer. The position was created in March 2017, and Papac is the first officer to hold the position.[1] Previously, she was ICANN's gTLD Registry Services Director.[1]

ICANN Involvement
Papac has participated in ICANN activities and has been a part of a number of ICANN policy-making groups. In a letter dated December 8, 2011, Krista Papac, along with twenty-seven other domain name industry representatives, wrote to Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison to support ICANN's New gTLD Program, in response to the Senate Hearings taking place on the same day.[2] They supported ICANN's argument that the program would be innovative and economically beneficial and noted that the program took a diverse group of international stakeholders years to develop.[3]
Career History
Papac is the former General Manager of Policy & Industry Affairs and Chief Strategy Officer at ARI Registry Services.[4] She has a background in the international domain name industry.[1] She has been active in the International Trademark Association since 2001. She represented ARI Registry Services, along with its CEO Adrian Kinderis, at the 2010 Domain Fest and .nxt Conferences.
Prior to joining ARI Registry Services in 2010, Ms. Papac was the Business Development and Sales Manager at Iron Mountain.[5]
Education
Ms. Papac has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.[1]
