Application Details
Excerpted from Applicant's response to question #18:
"The proposed gTLD will provide the marketplace with direct association to the term, ʺみんな,ʺ which is the Japanese equivalent to the English term, ʺeveryone.ʺ The mission and purpose of the proposed gTLD is to create a new second-level domain hierarchy for the publicʹs use and is aimed at a Japanese-speaking audience. Charleston Road Registry will also support IDNs at a second-level for the Japanese language.
Charleston Road Registry believes in the commercial viability of the proposed gTLD, .みんな, and thus leaves the specialization to the gTLD to be determined by the market through registrantsʹ use."[3]
