Vicky Risk is the Director of Marketing at Internet Systems Consortium.[1][2] His current areas of responsibility include Java and Web Application development, overall IT operations and technical customer support, recruitment, public and press relations, and public affairs projcts.[1]

ICANN 51 in Los Angeles was Risk's first ICANN Meeting; she has also attended IETF, NANOG, and RIPE.[2]
Risk also has extensive volunteering experience; she is currently a Child Advocate for Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, where she advocates for foster children in and out of court, as well as conducts recruiting sessions for additional volunteers. She herself was a foster parent through EMQ FamiliesFirst between November 2010 and July 2011.[1]
