.新闻 is an IDN gTLD being proposed in ICANN's New gTLD Program. Xinhua News Agency Guangdong Branch manages the TLD and is its Registry. The proposed application succeeded and was delegated to the Root Zone on 24 August, 2015.[1] .[2]
