.alsace is a geographical TLD that was proposed in ICANN's New gTLD Program. The successful applicant is the Alsace Region.[1] It does not appear to have geographic registration restrictions included in its application.
.alsace was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on the 4th October, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[2]

Contract signed
On the 2nd July 2014, the Alsace Region received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .alsace after passing the Initial Evaluation.[4]
