Applicants
Three companies submitted an application for the .broadway string seeking the approval of the internet governing body for its inclusion in the root zone of the internet domain name system (DNS) and to serve as registry operator. The companies include: [1]
- Celebrate Broadway, Inc., in partnership with Minds + Machines, a back-end registry service provider and a wholly-owned subsidiary of TLDH. Antony Van Couvering is the main contact person in the application.
- Donuts (Goose North, LLC), This is one of the 307 new gTLDs filed by the company and invested $56 million just for application fees. [2]
