.budapest is a new genric top level domain (gTLD) proposal to ICANN from Top Level Domains Holding Ltd. (TLDH). The application for the .budapest string is supported by the government of the city of Budapest and it was submitted by Top Level Domain Holdings Ltd., which will use the back-end registry services of its subsidiary, Minds + Machines.[1]
