It is unclear how many applicants are interested, but one, dotHamburg announced their intentions to apply at ICANN Cairo.[1] dotHamburg has chosen Austria's Nic.at to provide registry services for their application. It does not seem that the Hamburg government has publiclly announced its intentions to give the requisite support to dotHamburg.[2]
