Auction
It was announced on 19 Dec 2013 that Donuts won in a private auction against all other applicants the right to .life. Donuts is now the sole remaining applicant and CompassRose.Life Inc. and Xiamen 35.com Technology will receive a pay-off from Donuts in return for withdrawing their applications. The auction was administered by Applicant Auction.[4]
Contract Signed
On 06 February 2014 Donuts received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .life after passing all the required processes needed to become a Registry Operator for the string.[5]
