dotPH is the official Philippines domain registry which has been functional since 1989, 5 years before the nation officially got an Internet connection. dotPH is the official Philippine hub of Internet's Domain Name System.

Presently, the company has more than 150 partner registrar sites worldwide.

Domain Registrants

The domain registrants of dotPH come from more than 75 different nations which range from giant corporations like PLDT, San Miguel Corporation etc to Fortune 500[1][2] companies such as Nike, Wal Mart, AOL-Time Warner, IBM, Microsoft, Citibank, etc.

Server

For more than 19 years, the Philippine domain system servers have been operating continuously. The company currently operates more than 80 servers and handles around 60, 000 queries per day on an average. The servers of dotPH are equipped with anti –virus protection, Denial-of-Service security, firewalls and others.

Achievements

  • The company is the first of its kind in the world to have developed a Shared Registry System that permits domain registrars to directly link to the back-end Registry for real time payment, registration and management.
  • DotPH is also amongst the first sites based in the Philippines to provide online payment services to partners and clients.[3]
