1662 - Afilias

.poker is a proposed TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. After a Private auction in May 2014, Afilias became the only applicant for the string. It was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on the 15th October, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[1]

Private Auction

In a private auction conducted by Applicant Auction in May 2014, Afilias won the rights to .poker over the other three applicants for an undisclosed amount.[3]

Objection

Saudi Arabia's Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) filed an objection against the TLD.[4]

Contract signed

On the 3rd July 2014, Afilias received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .tatar after passing the Initial Evaluation.[5]

Delegation

It was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on the 15th October, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[6]
