.rugby is new generic top level domain name (gTLD) proposal from the International Rugby Board (IRB) in partnership with Roar Domains LLC. and Top Level Domains Holding Ltd. while Minds + Machines will provide the back-end registry for the gTLD. IRB is applying for the TLD to serve the interest of the global rugby stakeholders, to promote the sport and its values and to protect its trademarks. If approved, the .rugby gTLD will be open for registration to amateur and professional rugby players, coaches, tournament owners, organizers and other entities affiliated with Rugby. [1] [2]
