.storage is a proposed TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. There was originally two applicants for the string, Donuts and Self Storage Company LLC, but the latter won the rights in a private auction held by Innovative Auctions in August 2013.The total amount was not disclosed though the 8 total auctions that were cumulatively valued at $9.65 million.[1]
