AC stands for Advisory Committees of the the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. It was established based on the provisions set forth in Article XI of the Bylaws of the corporation. The committee may compose of the following membership; directors only, directors and non-directors, or non-directors only as well as non-voting or alternative members. The Advisory Committee is not authorized to take action in behalf of the internet governing body. It's primary responsibility is to report findings and recommendations to the ICANN Board.[1]
